Coquina Sauvignon Blanc 2012



A very complex, barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc where we combined wild barrel and skins ferments, yeast stirring and partial malo adding great texture and mouth feel with a slight nutty and mineral character . The skin berries were hand destemed. Coquina (kokena) is the technical name for the type of soft limestone of broken shells that formed 3 million years ago and is the base of our soils on the limestone hills.
